Dr. Amanda Lau was born in Hong Kong and immigrated to Vancouver when she was eight years old. She studied in Pharmaceutical Sciences for her undergrad and subsequently went on to complete her medical degree at the University of British Columbia in 2008.
Dr. Lau did her family practice residency training in the Greater Vancouver family practice program also in UBC. She is fluent in Cantonese and her special interest is in developing better practice models and education in medical training.
